Eligibility & Deadline
Contest promo is open to all PBA fans who are fond of taking pictures inside playing venues, following the official mechanics and guidelines.
Contest period will be from June 1 till December 31, 2010. All entries must be submitted at the official website of the Philippine Basketball Association or PBA, www.pba.ph. Voting shall be done through sms and online voting, from which five photos shall be selected each week to represent as weekly entries. Chosen weekly entries will compete for the most number of votes to determine each month's winner (except August and September due to season breaks).
Guidelines:
• Contest is open to all individuals or PBA fans, must be of legal age and resident of the Republic of the Philippines.
• Photo entries must be original and in full color, showcasing creativity and must have not been published or exhibited in any printed or online media prior to the contest.
• Photo entries must be in .jpg format, file size should be between 350 KB to 2 MB, taken from any digital image capturing equipment (Digital Camera, Mobile Phone).
• All entries submitted will be considered property of the PBA.
• No joining or registration fee involved in this contest.
• Photos can either be action shots or fun shots.
• Submission of entries ends every Monday at 12 midnight.
• Voting for the weekly entries ends automatically prior to the announcement of the weekly winners.
How to Enter the Contest:
1. Log-on to photocontest.pba.ph, click on the contest site banner and review mechanics & guidelines then complete entry form provided, making sure to fill-in all required fields.
2. Upon completion of form, you may proceed submission and uploading your photo entry.
3. All submission materials in an acceptable format including completed entry forms must comply with contest mechanics and guidelines to qualify. You will receive a confirmation e-mail with additional information once your entry has been processed.
Qualifying and Judging Guidelines
All qualified entries shall be posted on the gallery page and will be available to the public for the SMS and online voting, from which the five (5) photos with the most number of votes each week shall be selected as weekly finalists.
Chosen weekly entries will compete for the monthly finals to determine each month's winner. (except August and September due to season breaks).
Judging guidelines will be based on originality, form of action, sharpness, and over-all impact.
Prizes and Awards:
1. All Winners will be notified via Phone call, email, FACEBOOK Page, PBA website and registered mail.
2. Upon claiming of prizes, winners must present the following:
• Original copy of the photo on the existing digital camera.
• Two (2) valid ID’s with photo (e.g. passport, SSS ID, Driver’s License, Company ID)
3. All prizes must be claimed within 60 days from receipt of notification, otherwise prizes will be forfeited in favor of PBA.
4. PBAPI and Mozcom, Inc. reserves the right to certify if the winning entry is eligible.
5. Winners can claim their Prizes in the PBA Office located at 186 E. Rodriguez Jr. Avenue, Libis, Quezon City with the Tel. No. (+632) 470-6074.
6. Prizes are non-transferable and not convertible to cash.
7. Winners should agree to be featured in publicity materials regarding the promotion.
8. In cases of dispute, the decision of PBAPI and Mozcom, Inc. shall be considered final.
9. Employees of PBAPI, PBA, Mozcom, Inc. and participating sponsors including their relatives up to the second degree of consanguinity or affinity are disqualified to join the promo.
Prizes
Weekly winners: 1 Phiten Rakuwa Bracelet each.
Monthly Winner: GE Digital camera.
